The best part of Destiny 2 is the recurring and new DLC additions. The annual Festival of the Lost is finally over, and the coolest space grandmother Eva Levante is returning to it. It features several elements from last year, including the introductory challenge “Gone But Not Forgotten”. With the spooky Halloween season already in full swing, there couldn’t be a better time. But as the players progress through the quest, they cannot complete that quest. Is it because of a bug? Destiny 2 Gone But Not Forgotten Quest Error (explained)

There are several posts in the community that this particular quest is being bugged. Due to this quest error, players are unable to complete and progress through the quest chain. The Gone But Not Forgotten action involves collecting spectral pages and turning them into manifest pages. But when players do this, their collected spectral pages are lost. So, the players have to start the quest again. This issue has been confirmed by the Bungie team on their Twitter support page. They recently stated that a fix has been implemented to address an issue that was preventing some players from converting Spectral Pages to Manifest Pages.

How to complete the quest “Gone But Not Forgotten”

Complete the following steps to complete the quest:

• Talk to Eva Levante and get the Festival of the Lost Mask.
• When you talk to her in the Tower, she will offer some masks inspired by Master Rahul. You can choose one of these masks to continue the quest.
• You need to equip the Festival of the Lost Mask from inventory. You can find this mask in the Helmet section.
• After receiving the mask, go to the Tower and chat with Eva. It will give you one spectral page.
• Now head to the Haunted Sector from the Catalog.
• You need to complete the Summoning Ritual in the Ghost Sector. To do this, you need to stand on the Summoning Ritual until the cooldown ends.
• It lasts 5 minutes and you need to stand your ground before it ends. As you progress through the ritual, you must summon 10 Headless.
• You can either wait 5 minutes or kill 10 Headless to complete the Haunted Sector.
• Once you complete the Sector, return to Eva and chat with her. There, go to the Altar to the right of Eve, where you will find the Book of the Forgotten.
• You need to merge all collected Spectral Pages to make one Manifested Page. Finally, you can talk to Eve to claim your rewards.

Unfortunately, players are stuck at the last step where they can’t find their spectral pages. We hope Bungie will fix this quest bug as soon as possible.
