Diablo IV: Blizzard Entertainment Hack and Slash Goes Gold
Development of Diablo IV ends without the addition of the famous overlay map, a transparent map that appears in the middle of the screen.
Coming this summer with cross-play and progress sharing across all platforms, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV features the demoness Lilith and the angel Inaria teaming up to create the world of Sanctuary in their desire to avoid the eternal conflict between Heaven and Hell. Decades after the events of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, they have become sworn enemies, determined to go to war with their followers. The lands of Sanctuary are now overrun with ruthless demons, and only the most resilient heroes can stand against the darkness.

Rod Ferguson, Head of Diablo Licensing at Blizzard Entertainment, said:
Achieving gold status is a major milestone for the incredible Diablo IV team that has been hard at work creating the next generation of this iconic franchise. This is a concrete and important step towards our June 6th launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. Whether players are veterans of the franchise or just diving into the game for the first time, we can’t wait for them to experience the game in its entirety, get involved in the incredible story, experience classes and character creation, and learn about endgame and dark the world of Sanctuary has to offer.
