Digimon Survive is a Visual Novel, Tactical Survival RPG developed by Hyde and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This game is a visual novel with an amazing story about a group of high school students who go on a journey and then encounter digimon and ghosts. You, the Player, will play as Takuma and be the protagonist of the Story. On your journey, you will encounter various Digimon. Many of them are very strong and will prove useful if they are on your side. Thus, you must befriend them and then recruit them to increase your arsenal. In this guide, I will show you how to befriend each Digimon in Digimon Survive.

How to make friends in Digimon Survive

In this game, you can basically capture every Digimon by befriending them. In order to befriend a Digimon in Digimon Survive, you will have to talk to an enemy Digimon. When you talk to them, they will ask you 3 questions. Depending on how well you answer them, the 6-segment bar will either fill up or empty out. Here’s what will happen:

  • Great answers will occupy 2 panel segments.
  • A good answer will fill the bar by 1 segment.
  • A bad answer will empty the bar by 1 segment.
  • The worst answers will empty 2 segments of the scale.

Each digimon has its own set of questions and answers. You can only find out the answer by talking to all possible Digimon. If you can fill the bar half way, you will get a prompt to either befriend a Digimon or ask him for items. There will be a chance to make friends with him. So keep trying to befriend one type of Digimon to be able to capture it. One way to get a perfect score is to save the game before starting the fight. If you fail to make friends, reload from the last save. This is an efficient way to do it.
