Dinkum: how to get more residents
Dinkum is a fun new Animal Crossing style game that players can have fun with. In this game, players go into the wild, catch insects, raise farm animals, and more. One of the most important parts of such games is attracting new residents to your island. These residents also bring new things to the island. Some bring shops, while others bring buildings such as museums and banks. But inviting them can be tricky if you don’t know how to get around it. So here is your guide on how to get more residents in Dinkum.
How to get more residents in Dinkum
There are 16 residents that you will meet and invite to your island in Dinkum. They are Fletch, John, Theodore, Rain, Clover, Irvine, Franklin, Melvin, Sally and Milburn. They each require different services (even if they seem the same) and they all have different tastes. And so, you will need to pay attention to each of your friends if you want to make the inhabitants of your island.
To know if you’re on the right track, you’ll have a heart rate monitor that fills up when you’re doing something right. For each service performed, you receive a quarter of a heart. However, if you accept the favor but don’t do it, you will lose some hearts. To make a friend a resident, you will need to complete a certain number of favors, talk to him, and buy things from/for him.
Once your friend decides to stay, you can get a document from Fletch to unlock a permanent building for him. This will now make them residents in the game.
This has been your guide on how you can attract more residents to Dinkum.
