Dinkum: how to tame a dingo
Dinkum is a fun new Animal Crossing style game where players can relax. In this game, players go into the wild, catch insects, raise farm animals, and more. One of the animals you will find roaming the island is the dingo. You will find that these wild dogs are always running around the island when they are not hunting. Considering how cute these dogs are, you’ll probably want to get one. If you too want to tame your own dingo in Dinkum, then this guide is for you.
How to Tame a Friendly Dingo in Dinkum
Dingoes usually huddle in flocks, but single individuals are found here and there. To tame one, you will need collars. You can find these collars in treasure chests in the Deep Mine.
To get here, you will need to obtain a Deep Mine license and a document for it from Fletch. You can now build the Deep Mine elevator, but you won’t be able to access it. To get an access card, you will need to go to John’s goods store and buy it for 25,000 Dink. This can be quite expensive for a card that can only be used once!
Now that you can travel to the Deep Mine, collect as many Old Keys as you can from your metal detecting adventures. That’s because opening the treasure room depends on luck, and if you have the right key, you just might be able to get inside! Now open the various chests in this room to find the collar. If you’re lucky, you’ll find it after hours of searching.
If you manage to find a collar, you can put it on and approach the dingo. Now you will get the “tame”option.
Based on all the work you’ll have to put in to get enough money to visit a deep mine, we’re saying that you should probably just pet a dingo instead. You can always get a collar when you’re full of Dinx and have nothing to use it for.
