It’s great to experiment with your character’s unique abilities, but don’t stop there! While you compete against other racers, each power-up has a charged form that offers more specific advantages. We’ll show you how to use charged skills in Disney Speedstorm in this article.

Disney Speedstorm Charged Skills: How to Utilize Them

Disney Speedstorm makes it incredibly simple to use charged skills; to activate the charged version, simply hold the Skills button down while touching the button once to activate the ordinary version.

Your preferred gaming platform may have a different Skills button than others:

  • PlayStation—hold the Triangle button
  • Xbox—hold Y
  • PC—hold the Up Arrow key

If you reach the ranking of two stars, you can also use your character’s special powers in addition to power-ups like Boost, Fire, or Hack that you can pick up on the way and employ in either their ordinary or charged version.

The summary of each character’s special charged powers in Disney Speedstorm is provided in the table below:

Mickey Mouse Trailblazer: a speed boost that also gives invulnerability
Goofy Barnstormer: a fuel canister that stuns enemies and provides a speed boost
Donald Duck Why I Oughta: a small speed boost with a stun effect when enemies bump into you
Hercules Olympian Flyby: a trail created by Pegasus that boosts your speed and leaves opponents stunned
Meg Grecian Burn: invulnerability with a trail that fills up the boost bar whenever another player goes over it
Shang Military Might: spinning staff that protects you and stuns others if they bump into you
Mulan Firework Barrage: a guided rocket that stuns opponents behind you when it explodes
Celia Mae Snake and Shake: a pink sphere around your car that provides boost and slows down nearby racers
Mike Wazowski Hold the Door: teleportation doors like in the regular version, but the distance traveled is longer
Sulley Fearsome Roar: three roars that stun everybody in your area
Randall Scream Collector: one summoned door that provides one scream; five screams provide a speed boost and affect the vision of opponents following Randall
Elizabeth Swann Jade Captain’s Knot: a dash forward that leaves a trail that stops everyone who touches it
Jack Sparrow Cutlass Flurry: a filled boost bar with an increased area of the stun effect for Jack’s swords
Belle Enchanted Mirror: summoned birds that increase Belle’s speed but also the speed of nearby racers
Beast Enchanted Rose: a leap forward with the Rage Mode activated after using the skill three times
Mowgli One of the Pack: three wolves summoned in the regular version now travel longer distances and have a stunning effect on those who touch them
Baloo Bare Necessities: fruit spawning in front that grants additional nitro fuel for anyone who picks them up
Figment Spark of Imagination: a trail that impacts the vision of affected drivers and a speed boost for Figment that stacks up depending on how many racers get affected by the trail
