Apple iPhone 14 Series display, performance specs leaked, no ProMotion on 14 and 14 Max

Details about the Apple iPhone 14 series have begun to surface online. A new leak has revealed information about the display size, features and specifications of upcoming iPhone models. At the end of this year, Apple will release four new iPhone models with two screen sizes. The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro CAD renders have been leaked and show the Pro models will have a new design.

Tipster Shadow Leak has revealed the screen size of all four 2022 iPhones. Tipster claims the Pro models will feature an LTPO display that allows screen refreshes in the 1-120Hz range. Let’s take a look at the specs, features, and other details of the iPhone 14 series.

Specifications of the Apple iPhone 14 series

The Apple iPhone 14 series could debut in September 2022 if all goes according to plan. Ahead of the launch, the specs and features of the upcoming iPhones have been leaked. According to the leak, the iPhone 14 will feature a 6.06-inch flexible OLED display. We’ve exclusively leaked CAD renders of the device, which have revealed that the vanilla model will retain the wide notch. It will house the Face ID sensors and the front camera.

The 14 Pro, on the other hand, will have a hole-punch cutout and a pill-shaped notch instead of a notch. Shadow Leak claims that the device will feature a 6.06-inch Flexible OLED LTPO display. This means the 14 Pro series will continue to use the ProMotion refresh rate display technology, while the non-pro models will support the standard 60Hz refresh rate.

The 14 Max and 14 Pro Max will feature a 6.68-inch flexible OLED display, with the latter sporting an LTPO panel for ProMotion.

According to the leaker, all four iPhones released as part of the 14 series will have 6GB of RAM. It echoed a previous report that claimed the 14 and 14 Max would come with the A15 Bionic chip, while the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max would come with the A16 Bionic chipset.

On the back, non-professional models will feature a dual camera with TrueTone flash. The Pro series will ship with a triple camera on the back with a LiDAR sensor. There are rumors that the 14 Pro models may get a 48MP camera sensor. There are still a few months before the launch. Therefore, the leaked characteristics are best treated with a grain of salt.
