After many delays, Dying Light 2 will finally be available on February 4th. So this means you will be able to enjoy the game with improved graphics later on when you have the appropriate machine. Like many recent PS5 and Xbox Series X/S titles, Dying Light 2 will feature multiple rendering modes, giving players the option to prioritize graphics or performance.
for players who purchased the PS4 or Xbox One version
If you want to play with the best graphics, you can choose between “Quality”and “Resolution”modes. As you would expect from the name, the latter mode allows you to play 4K games. A little less obvious is that the Quality mode will add ray tracing to your gaming experience. And if you’re only concerned about frame rate, then you’ll select the Performance mode, which will allow you to play Dying Light 2 at 60fps or more. You can see these three game modes in action in the video below.
This news comes at the same time as another regarding the cloud version of Dying Light 2 on Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, Techland is forced to delay the release of this version for six months. The studio has made this decision to provide gamers with the best Big N hybrid console experience.
