Jailbreak tweaks of the week: ClassicFolders 3, DontEatMyContent, SMSStats 3 and more…

Jailbreak hacks give iPhone and iPad users plenty to worry about. For example, you can add new features and customization options to your device that standard phone owners could only dream of.

Following our traditional custom, we’ll start by showcasing our favorite jailbreak tweak releases and then post the general style of everything else. So, without further ado, let’s get started!

Our favorite releases this week

Classic Folders 3 – $1.99

For those who want the folders on the iPhone and iPad home screen to still have the same sensuous aesthetic as they did in the days of iOS 6, tweaking the ClassicFolders 3 jailbreak can help.

It gets rid of those ridiculous full-screen home screen folders and replaces them with expandable folders so you don’t dedicate so much of your device’s screen to a simple folder. What’s more, ClassicFolders 3 comes with a UI tweak that wasn’t even in iOS 6, taking it a few steps further.

DontEatMyContent – FREE

For some reason, a small group of notched iPhones are experiencing an issue where the notch cuts slightly into the frame of a 2:1 aspect ratio video played through the YouTube app.

DontEatMyContent is a free jailbreak tweak that can fix this issue on affected phones by moving the video playback frame below the part of the display where the notch starts.

SMSStats 3 – FREE

If you’ve ever been curious about how many messages you send and receive from individuals, be it iMessages or SMS messages, then a free add-on called SMSStats 3 might be just what you need.

With this setting, you will be able to view statistics for individual participants in any conversation about how many sent, received, and shared messages were related to you and that person. Best of all, it sorts them by iMessage and SMS, just in case you need more information.
