Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Setupify, IPSW, CanvasLive and more…
The jailbreak community is once again gaining momentum as the Odyssey team gets closer to finalizing and releasing the upcoming Cheyote jailbreak tool for iOS and iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1.
At the same time, with all the latest updates coming at us left and right, iDB is the source to find everything you need to know about jailbreaking in one convenient place.
This overview post will cover everything you may have missed in the previous work week from Monday July 25th to Sunday July 31st. As always, we’ll start by showing off our favorite jailbreak tweak releases and then wrap up with a review of everything else.
Our favorite releases this week
Setupify – $2.00
Setupify is a new jailbreak tweak that allows users to save their jailbreak tweak settings in profiles that can be switched between at any time.
Whether you’re trying to back up your existing settings or keep multiple jailbreak setup profiles so you can switch between them on the fly depending on how you feel day to day, this tweak offers something for everyone. who want more flexibility in customizing their add-ons.
You can learn more about Setupify and how it works in our full review.
CanvasLife – $1.49
The new CanvasLife jailbreak tweak adds home and lock screen wallpapers to your iPhone based on the Now Playing album art.
In addition to this, the tweak is fully compatible with Spotify and its unique Canvas interface, which it can display outside of the app when you use Spotify as your Now Playing app.
You can learn more about CanvasLife and how it works in our full review.
IPSW – FREE
IPSW is a handy app that lets you check if a particular firmware version is signed for individual iOS or iPadOS devices, and even lets you see OTA and beta statuses.
The premise of the app is similar to the handy IPSW.me website we often cite in our firmware unsigning posts, however it is a dedicated app with a nice user interface and performance. Later, the app was also released for non-jailbroken devices (locked devices).
You can learn more about IPSW in our full review.

While we wish we had more to share in this week’s roundup, unfortunately this is the end. We’ll be back at the same time next weekend with a review similar to this one, albeit with updated content to reflect the times.
Miss last week’s roundup? DCFrame, Helix and more…
