James Bond: it will take a long time to wait for Daniel Craig’s successor
The next film in the James Bond saga will be a coveted one for years to come.
As soon as British comedian Daniel Craig announced in 2019 that No Time To Die would be his fifth and final film as the notorious MI6 spy, rumors began to circulate on social media and forums. Some media outlets mentioned Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, and even Jacob Elordi, knowing that Lashana Lynch was the first woman to hold the title of 007 along with the character Nomi.
Barbara Broccoli, producer of the James Bond franchise, says it will be some time before Craig’s replacement is officially named: “It’s a big decision. It’s not just about choosing a role. It is about a complete rethinking of the direction in which we are moving. ”

Still too attached to the latest version of James Bond, Barbara Broccoli is full of praise for the acting talent of Daniel Craig, whom she supported from Casino Royale in 2006 to No Time to Die in 2021: “He has an incredible register and he can do anything. He’s simply the greatest actor of all time and I think audiences are going to love this character because he’s funny, he’s dangerous, he’s the way you want him to be. Together – he and Ruth Negga – it’s just sexy in Macbeth… The chemistry between them, the fluidity, it’s like fireworks, fun and sexy, and a lot of gore. He’s such a great leader of the cast, he kept the spirit and momentum going because at one point 11 cast members dropped out including Daniel so he bounced back and Ruth is amazing… He put on a great show and I’m so happy. that things are going great. “
