This collection is currently for sale on eBay. However, be aware that the limited editions in diamond, platinum and gold, priced at $1,500, $100, and $25 respectively, have already sold out. According to eBay’s announcement, this collection was developed in collaboration with NFT platform OneOf, which supports a range of “low power blockchains”to create sustainable NFT collections.

eBay listed NFTs in mid-2021 on its platform, but did not integrate blockchain technology to support sales on the latter. With this official release, users receive a link via in-app messages or email to get their NFT outside of the platform.

These NFTs were issued on the Ethereum Polygon platform and can be offered second-hand on OneOf. However, used NFT sales on OneOf are very limited so far, with only three users offering platinum tokens at a minimum price of $199, and one user offering a gold token at $69.

eBay Vice President of Collectibles Don Block said that NFT technology “will revolutionize the collectibles market”and recalled that the company is committed to democratizing NFTs for collectors around the world: “Through our partnership with OneOf, eBay is now making NFTs more accessible to a new generation of collectors around the world. This reflects our commitment to bringing more value and passion to the eBay buyer and seller community.”

OneOf CEO Lin Dai shared a similar sentiment, explaining that the duo is committed to making NFTs accessible to those who are not (yet) crypto: “You don’t need to be a crypto expert to buy, sell, and collect NFTs. OneOf and eBay are offering web3 technology to 100 million unborn crypto consumers.”
