[Exclusive] Poco M4 with 90Hz display and 64MP camera could launch in early February
POCO introduced the POCO M3 smartphone back in February 2021. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor and has up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display, a 48MP triple camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Now it looks like the brand is gearing up to introduce the successor to the POCO M3 in the form of the POCO M4. MySmartPrice has received exclusive information on the POCO M4 release and specifications from consultant Mukul Sharma.
POCO M4 specifications revealed
According to the details, POCO M4 will be launched in early February in the global and Asian markets. In terms of specifications, the phone will be set to a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood of the device will be a MediaTek processor. In terms of image, POCO M4 will have a triple camera setup. The camera module will include a 64MP OV64B40 sensor, an 8MP IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP OV2A lens. In terms of software, the upcoming POCO smartphone will run Android 11 out of the box with a MIUI 12.5 skin on top.
After a few days, we should know more about the POCO M4 if it appears in any certification or test. As mentioned above, POCO M4 will appear as the successor to the POCO M3 smartphone. POCO M3 was introduced by POCO back in February 2021. The device features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display. Under the hood, the M3 runs a Snapdragon 662 SoC. The smartphone packs up to 6GB of LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone is equipped with a triple camera which includes a 48 MP main camera and a pair of 2 MP depth units and a macro camera. Other key specs that the POCO M3 offers include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, an 8MP selfie camera, a 6000mAh battery, and support for 18W fast charging.
