Apple Arcade Adds NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition

Coming soon to Apple Arcade, NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition will be the latest installment in the world-famous NBA 2K franchise.

The game will be available exclusively on Apple Arcade in October with the new Greatest game mode available, in which you have to complete challenges and earn points to see who is the best finisher, shooter, playmaker or defenseman in the NBA.

It’s a licensed title meaning you’ll be playing against the top 20 players of the 76th NBA season like Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic, as well as NBA legends like Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal and Dirk Nowitzki.

Boost your on-court performance with TakeOver by doing GOAT basketball action on the court and filling up your TakeOver meter. Choose from a variety of TakeOver power-ups to suit your play style and upgrade them as you play to increase their effects and frequency.

You can customize your player’s look with Nike, Jordan or Adidas equipment, position and jersey number.

The game includes National Basketball Association commentary with commentators and color analysts such as Kevin Harlan, Greg Anthony, Steve Smith, Doris Burke, Clark Kellogg, Brent Barry and David Aldridge.

How to download NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition

NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition [ App Store link ] will release on Apple Arcade on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. The game will be free to play on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV if you have an Apple Arcade subscription. How to view a list of upcoming Apple Arcade games

To see a list of upcoming games, go to the Arcade tab in the App Store and scroll to the bottom, then select View All Games. On the next screen, click Filters to narrow the list by release date, then turn on the Coming Soon option.

Apple may remove tiles from the catalog due to poor engagement, as it did when it removed 15 games because its contracts with those developers had expired. Any remote game is available to play on the service for another two weeks.
