Elden Ring Speedrunner finishes the game in lightning speed in 2 hours and 30 minutes

Elden Ring has been out for a long time, and the game, like the entire FromSoftware catalog up to this point, is quite complex. The game has a few compromises over FromSoft’s usual structure, but it’s undeniably challenging, forcing players to push beyond what they think is a tipping point.

However, as with FromSoft games and similar games, there is someone who does 0 hits or no damage. To go further, this particular player was not only able to complete Elden Ring without dying, but did it in just 2.5 hours.

The speedrunner, Niko Bellic, was able to speed through Elden Ring and complete the game in less than 3 hours without dying once.

Niko was able to pull off this feat by only focusing on the main bosses needed for the main quest and essentially skipped all the open world bosses like Agil the Flying Dragon. FromSoft’s speed runs are often among the most spectacular, but given how vast Elden Ring is, this particular run is far more impressive.

The game isn’t as linear as previous titles from the studio, which is why a speedrun of this caliber is getting such recognition and acclaim. In our review of the game, we detailed why the game can be a bit less challenging than previous FromSoft titles, but even so, it’s still pretty intrusive.

Elden Ring is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Windows. The game is a fantastic role-playing game that boldly claims the title of “Game of the Year”and perhaps even one of the best games ever made.
