Epic Games Virtualizes New Kaws Art Exhibition With Fortnite
New York-based artist Brian “Kaws”Donnelly and Serpentine North Gallery are collaborating with Epic Games and Fortnite to bring art to the metaverse.
Thanks to the creative teams at BeyondCreative and Alliance Studios, Kaws New Fiction at the Serpentine North Gallery in Kensington Garden, London, can also be visited in Fortnite until 4:00 pm on January 25 via the Creative menu or via island code 9441-7852-6686. It features paintings, sculptures, as well as augmented reality art created in collaboration with Acute Art. For the occasion, the Skeleton Kaws costume that was available during the Fortnite: Nightmares 2021 event can be found in the in-game battle royale store of American publisher Epic Games.
