This deal brings Amazon’s best streaming stick down to $35.
There are many streaming devices that will allow you to access your favorite movies, shows and other media. They come in different shapes, at different prices, and they all offer different features. But if you’re looking for something that will stream 4K content to your TV, supports the latest technologies like Dolby Atmos and Wi-Fi 6, and costs less than $40, there’s only one option: the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max. which is on sale right now for just $35.
Why 4K Max is Amazon’s best flash drive for 4K streaming
I got turned off by Amazon Fire Sticks a few years ago when I bought one of the earlier models on Black Friday for $20. It was painfully slow, the image was grainy, and there was no support for any of my Apple apps. But so much has changed since then, and if you’ve had a similar experience, it might be time to give the Fire TV Stick another go.
The 4K Max model is extremely powerful with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor and a 750MHz GPU—it’s 40% more powerful than the Fire TV Stick 4K. This means faster app and game loading times, smoother navigation, and support for sophisticated features like real-time picture-in-picture. It also allows it to support high quality features such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for vibrant, crisp colors and Dolby Atmos for immersive surround sound.
In terms of software, the 4K Max runs on the Amazon Fire TV OS, which can be good or bad depending on how you feel about it. I obviously prefer the Apple TV software, but at this price point, with these features, I think most people would be happy to make that compromise. Also, whether you can get media is more important than how you get media, and the 4K Max Fire Stick supports just about every application in the streaming realm. This includes both Apple TV+ and Apple Music, as well as all major platforms and even some lesser-known apps like Freevee and Pluto TV.
It’s pretty crazy that Amazon was able to fit all of these features into a device that’s not much bigger than a USB memory stick, all for just $50, not to mention $35. Grab one of these – for your main TV, kid’s room, spare room, or travel – while you can at this price.
