There are rumors that Motorola is working on a new smartphone from the Edge series. The company has already launched the Edge 30 Pro and Edge 30 5G. The Edge 30 Ultra is also reportedly in development. It will be a premium flagship from Motorola. There is a fourth smartphone, which may soon debut on global markets. According to a new leak, Motorola will release this device as the Moto Edge 2022.

According to 91Mobiles and an OnLeaks source, the smartphone is codenamed Dubai+. The whistleblower has now leaked design renders and key specs of the new Motorola smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Moto Edge 2022 design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

2022 Motorola Moto design renders leaked online

Motorola is expected to launch a new smartphone from its Edge series soon called the Moto Edge 2022, codenamed Dubai+. Renders of the device’s design were leaked ahead of the launch. According to the leaked data, the phone has a flat back panel with slightly curved edges. Motorola logo in the center. The phone has a vertically arranged triple camera. The bottom edge houses the speaker grille, microphone, SIM card tray, and USB Type-C port.

The power and volume buttons are located on the right edge of the phone. On the front is a flat display with a hole punch cutout at the top center. The bezels are quite thin except for the thick chin. It will also come with stylus support. However, there is no dedicated cutout for storing the stylus. According to OnLeaks, the phone is 8.2mm thick.

It is reported that the device is equipped with a 6.5-inch display with Full HD + resolution. It will have a pOLED panel and support a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is a MediaTek MT6879 SoCu which is likely the Dimensity 920 chipset. It will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The phone will feature a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera will support optical image stabilization (OIS). There is a 32MP front camera for selfies. Finally, the phone will have a 5000 mAh battery.
