OnePlus has announced partnerships with several manufacturing companies in India. Its members include Andolan Production by Indian director and producer Vikramaditya Motwane, Big Bad Wolf Studios and Odd and Even Productions. The team shot a 60-minute feature film called “2024”. It is noteworthy that the action film was completely filmed on the flagship smartphone of OnePlus 9 Pro. Earlier this year, OnePlus made huge announcements at the OnePlus 9 series launch event. The company also tweaked the camera system on its Pro flagship, partnering with legendary camera maker Hasselblad, and also used Sony’s custom sensors.

To showcase the unrivaled OnePlus 9 Pro flagship camera and its capabilities, OnePlus has partnered with three production companies for their new feature film. Set in 2024, the film tells the story of four young people who grew up together in an orphanage in Dharavi and struggle to survive in a dystopian environment brought about by a mutating virus. The story of the film encourages viewers to reflect on their own lessons and conclusions from the recent pandemic experience.

“As the feature film is filmed entirely on our flagship OnePlus 9 Pro 5G, we are excited to showcase the exceptional quality of our flagship devices’ cameras, which offer users more accurate colors and superior image quality,” said Navneet Nakra, CEO and Head of India. This was reported by the region of India, OnePlus India. Those interested can watch the film on November 23 on the Disney + Hotstar channel.

Specifications of OnePlus 9 Pro

The OnePlus 9 Pro’s rear camera setup contains four sensors. It features a 48MP Sony IMX789 f/1.8 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide Sony IMX766 camera sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 2MP monochrome camera sensor that completes the rear camera setup. The flagship smartphone recently received a new XPan mode that replicates the experience of using Hasselblad’s XPan camera. Users can take photos in XPan mode with an aspect ratio of 65:24, which is the same as the original XPan camera. It also features two film simulation profiles for XPan mode, including a color mode and a unique black and white mode.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. On the front is a 6.7-inch WQHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support.
