Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is going free this summer

Mediatonic announces that Fall Guys will soon be cross-platform play and cross-progress across all platforms.

Owners of the paid version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will receive a Legacy Pack when the party game from the British studio Mediatonic becomes free, simultaneously with the release of the version for Xbox and also for Nintendo Switch. It consists of three costumes and access to the new Premium Season Pass, which runs in parallel with the Free Season Pass. In addition, a new mode is in development, allowing players to create their own rounds, although this is not expected to be released in the near future.

Fall Guys was originally supposed to be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this past summer, but that has been delayed to give development teams more time to implement new features like crossplay. It was released on PS4 and PC (Steam) in August 2020, and the console version is free for PlayStation Plus members. For reference, it quickly became the most downloaded game on the service of all time.
