Far Cry 6 gets a new Rambo-inspired mission for free
Far Cry 6 continues the crossover streak with an all-new free-to-play crossover mission reminiscent of 80s action. The newest mission, All Blood, pays homage to the first trilogy of the Rambo franchise.
Ubisoft has partnered with StudioCanal to add a Rambo crossover mission to Far Cry 6. This mission is currently available as a free download for players who own a copy of the game.
All Blood follows the story of superfan Rambo, who is on a solo mission to exact revenge on Yaran’s oppressive military. The player character will team up with this Rambo superfan and help him destroy their targets. Completing this mission will reward players with the Bow of Vengeance, which can then be used permanently in the main game.
Far Cry 6’s latest crossover mission “All Blood”is now available for download
This fits in nicely with the content roadmap for Far Cry 6 along with other crossover missions such as the mission with popular Hollywood icon Danny Trejo, as well as the money heist themed set. The game received significant support from Ubisoft upon launch, most notably with two DLCs – Vaas: Insanity and Pagan: Control.
Joining the ranks of villainous DLCs is the upcoming DLC, Joseph: Collapse, which explores the inner workings of the charismatic villain cult leader from Far Cry 5. These DLCs are available in-game through the Season Pass.
Rise of Ragnarok is scheduled to release on March 10, 2022.
Far Cry 6 received a rather mixed reception at launch, but post-launch content has been able to attract more fans. It will be interesting to see if Ubisoft plans more content for the game after the release of Joseph: Collapse or if this is the end of the main DLC for the game.
Another major Ubisoft flagship game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has seen a lot of great post-launch content released, including the upcoming DLC Dawn of Ragnarok.
