With the help of blockchain and the metaverse, the International Football Federation is implementing its expansion strategy in the video game industry.
Video gaming and esports are among the fastest growing opportunities for FIFA, which continues to expand into new digital spaces, platforms and games already catering to football fans such as Roblox, as well as Uplandme, Matchday, Phygtl and Altered State Machine.

FIFA Commercial Director Romi Guy said:
