Fortnite: Building is temporarily disabled
For a limited time, US publisher Epic Games is modifying Fortnite gameplay.
For the launch of the Resistance, the second season of the third chapter of Fortnite, building is now impossible. Thus, Epic Games Battle Royale players will have to re-learn how to defend themselves on the battlefield, and they will be able to rely on the help of a life-enhancing supershield as well as a regular shield: “This new element is the first line of defense for a player who takes hits in front of a blue potion shield. Luckily, it regenerates even if it drops to zero. ”
This unexpected homecoming is also due to the evolution of combat movement: “You can now run faster with the new default speed. And if the speed of movement is faster, then the sprint too! The new sprint bar lets you know how long you can run at that speed. Getting high has always been a good way to win a fight. When a surface is too high to jump to, or when a platform is too far away to land on, players’ hands can now stick to props to make climbing easier. ”
Rebellion brews in Resistance, Fortnite’s new season for Chapter 3
At the start of this new season, Fortnite invites these players to join the rebellion and take part in the ultimate battle to liberate Zero Point: “Take control of the IO Titan Tank and destroy everything that blocks your path with its cannon. One of your allies can also support you by taking control of the machine gun turret. Use the ingots to build an armored battle bus, a metal monster equipped with durable tires, a stone plow and two different types of turrets. ”
To equip yourself during the big battle, the Combat Submachine Gun, Red Dot Rifle, Drum Shotgun and Revolver will be available in the Fortnite store.
New collaboration between Fortnite and Marvel with the arrival of Doctor Strange
The Resistance Battle Pass (Chapter 3 – Marvel Season 2) includes the master of the mystic arts Doctor Strange, as well as several other characters such as Tsuki 2.0, Ginar, and finally an unmasked Origin. Some quests will allow you to reprogram your Omni Sword pickaxe to customize it with blade, guard, color, and even sound.
