Free Fire Skyesports Streamers Showdown Season 2: Here are 12 top Indian creators competing

Skyesports Steamer Showdown is back for a second season and this time 12 of the most popular Indian streamers will compete in Free Fire. The popular battle royale game by Garena was quite popular after PUBG Mobile was banned at the beginning of last year, and its popularity has grown significantly since then.

Streamer Showdown Season 2 will be the first Skyesports event for Free Fire and will feature 12 popular influencers competing for battle royale supremacy. The event will run for five days, from December 6 to 10, with a prize pool of Rs 300,000. A total of 6 matches will be played in Free Fire on different maps, including Bermuda, Purgatory and Kalahari.

The Streamer Showdown 2 season is shaping up to be quite a big event as all 12 streamers collectively have over 12 million Youtube subscribers. The event will be streamed on Skyesports Youtube channel from 18:00 (Indian Standard Time) every day of the tournament.

“Skyesports has been able to maintain consistent growth even during the PUBG Mobile ban last year thanks to the broad portfolio of games we include in our IPs,” said Shiva Nandi, CEO of Skyesports. “Because we play one of the most popular games in India, we are also happy to enter Free Fire. The Skyesports Streamers Showdown is the first of many tournaments around the game.”

Prize pool split:

  • First place: Rs. 150 000
  • Runner-up: Rs. 75 000
  • Third place: Rs. 30,000
  • Fourth place: Rs. 21 000
  • Fifth place: Rs. 9000
  • MVP: Rs. 15,000

The latest iteration of the tournament was held last July and featured 16 streamers at BGMI, with Marcos Gaming taking first place in the tournament.
