Where to Find Vault Keys in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

One of the new additions to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is that you can use keys to open vaults that are filled with great loot. If you’re new to the game or wondering where to find the vault keys in Fortnite, please note that their location is random, but there are a few locations you can explore more specifically.

Where to Find Vault Keys in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

Players can get the keys to the Vault in places where there are chests and ground loot. As such, there are no specific spawn locations for keys and they are quite rare, but your chances might be higher if you head to areas that have more ground loot as well as Chrome chests. Try heading to the Tree of Reality, Glittering Lagoon, Fort Jonesy, Leaning Towers, and Herald’s Sanctuary to get more luck with these keys.

Once you see a glowing item hovering above the ground while exploring, approach it and pick it up following the prompt on the screen. Their drop rate is very low, so you’ll have to keep a close eye on them on the map.

How to use vault keys?

• Once you have the Vault key, head to the vault on the map (indicated by the keyhole) and interact with it using the “Use Key”option.
• Enter it and you will get rare chests and more loot. There is a chance that you will find more keys in the chests in the vaults.
• It is important to note that some vaults may require two keys instead of one (and they have better loot), so be sure to constantly look for them in Chapter 3 Seasons 4. The number of keys you have will be shown in a separate section of the UI on the right side screen.
