How to get Scarlet Sand Slate in Genshin Impact

You can get the Scarlet Sand Shale in this game by completing the side quest “Lost in the Sands”from the “Golden Dream”questline. This is the first subquest in this questline:

1. Go and talk to Bonifaz to start the Golden Dream quest.
2. Next, follow the tracks from the village of Aru.
3. This will eventually lead you to the hole.
4. Go down into this hole and start looking for clues.
5. Talk to the three people marked on your map.
6. Next, go and talk to the girl at the entrance. She will be shown as the fourth person.
7. Now follow Tirzad to the area near the ruins.
8. Use the Teleport waypoint here (optional step).
9. Enter the new area and explore the long corridor.
10. Cross to the other side and activate the mechanism to open the door.
11. Defeat the enemies in this new area.
12. Follow and go to the blue marker on the map.
13. Activate the mechanism again to open a new door.
14. Approach the blue marker on the map again and defeat all the enemies you meet on the way.
15. Collect the Dendroculus (optional step) and activate the elevator to go down.
16. Activate a few more mechanisms and go through other doors to get to the elevator that will take you upstairs.
17. Climb up and interact with the pyramid-like device.
18. Talk to Jacht.
19. Use the elevator to go back down.
20. Talk to Jabrail.
21. Now Tirzad will give you a Scarlet Sand Shale.

How to use the tablet

You can use the Scarlet Sand Slate to access previously blocked areas in the desert. Once you get the tablet, the devices will give you permission to explore the area at your own pace.
