God of War on PC: Santa Monica Studio Soft Reboot Features and Configurations

The features and configurations required to run God of War on PC are revealed via trailer.

Grace Orlady, Senior Communications & Community Manager at Santa Monica Studio, details the features of the PC version of God of War: “Thanks to DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), gamers equipped with GeForce RTX GPUs will be able to experience God of War at higher resolutions while maintaining a high frame rate. This technology uses machine learning to increase the resolution of the game and give you incredible visual quality without sacrificing performance. When you’re up against the strongest opponents like Sigrun, the Valkyrie Queen, how quickly you react to her attacks can mean the difference between life and death in combat. With Nvidia Reflex, God of War PC gameplay will be responsive with reduced system latency for multiple generations of GeForce RTX and GTX GPUs. ”

She also says, “We are also excited to support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution so that our gamers with AMD GPUs can enjoy an alternative image enhancement technology! Higher resolution shadows, improved screen space reflections, Ambient Ground Truth Occlusion (GTAO) and Directional Screen Space Occlusion (SSDO), and highly detailed assets and rendering solutions mean God of War on PC will be a beautiful and crisp visual experience.. ”
