Google Pixel Watch is still relevant

Google Pixel smartwatches are talking about it again. The launch could take place during 2022.

All these years that Google has been pushing a plethora of products into the market, from smartphones and headphones to tablets, laptops and more. Many are wondering, and rightly so, if the Mountain View firm will ever launch its own smartwatches. And, unfortunately, despite the many rumors about it that have been circulating since the first smartwatches, we still haven’t seen Google’s smartwatches hit the market.

However, this may change very soon. Indeed, if a Business Insider report is to be believed, sources say the American giant may finally be ready to launch its own Pixel Watch. This launch may even take place within the next year, in 2022, unfortunately without further details. That being said, if this were a guessing game, perhaps this watch could debut during Google I/O and be available for purchase later this year, but at this point, that’s all pure speculation on our part.

Now the questions are: why now? Why not? Again, it’s impossible to answer these questions with certainty, we’re not in small Google articles, but if you remember this year’s I/O conference, the Mountain View firm announced its intention to take a closer look at its Wear OS smartwatch platform in cooperation with Samsung. Perhaps Google finally waited for this before officially launching their Pixel smartwatches.. .

In terms of functionality, expect to find all the now-standard features we’re entitled to in smartwatches in 2021. And who knows, maybe we’ll be eligible for some exclusive Pixel features. In any case, during 2022 we should learn more. Patience, patience!
