Gotham Knights: How to unlock transmogs and colorings
Gotham Knights is offering 56 costumes to players, so many are wondering how they can unlock transmogs and skins for them. 56 costumes means each character gets 14 costumes. And with the ability to change the hood, symbol, gloves, and boots for each outfit, you get tons of customization options. So in this guide, let’s see how to unlock transmogs for every costume and color scheme in Gotham Knights.
How to unlock transmog in Gotham Knights
Depending on your costume, the way to unlock the transmog will also change. Before we get into the details, it’s important that you know what Transmog does. When you transmog a costume on another, you are actually wearing that costume in default mode. For example, if I equipped the Titan costume on Batgirl and decided to use the transmog of the Knightwatch costume. Batgirl will now wear the Knightwatch costume by default without the ability to customize it. This is important as it can confuse many new players as to what happens when they transmog one costume to another.
Now that you know what a transmog does, here’s how you can unlock it for all 14 costumes in this game:
- New Guard: This is the default value you start with, so its transmog is also available to apply from the start.
- Beyond: You can either buy the Visionary Pack or buy the Deluxe version of the game.
- Knightwatch: Similar to the Beyond suit, this transmog can be unlocked in two ways. You can either buy the Deluxe Edition of the game or purchase the DLC Visionary Pack for it.
- Eternal: After unlocking the costume, you need to complete his task to craft Lucius Fox.
- Talon: You get the Talon transmog after unlocking the Talon costume.
- Metal: After unlocking the suit, you need to complete the crafting task for Lucius Fox.
- Neon Noir: After unlocking the costume, you need to complete the challenge to create Lucius Fox.
- Knight Ops: You have to find all of Batman’s secret caches.
- Privateer: After unlocking the suit, you need to complete Lucius Fox’s quest.
- Year One: Collect all 60 Batrangs scattered throughout Gotham to unlock this transmog.
- Titan: You will unlock this transmog by unlocking the suit.
- Demon: Create a Thrill Seeker costume, its style speaks of Demon.
- Shinobi: Create a Stealth suit, its style says Shinobi.
- Chivalry: You can unlock his transmog by completing the main story of the game.
How to unlock colors
You can unlock colors by obtaining their blueprints or by solving crimes. There are no specific unlock criteria for a specific color scheme. So the best way to unlock them all is to keep playing until you have collected them all. However, this has one exception. There are 3 skins that you can only get with the purchase of the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Visionary Pack. These colors are:
- Chroma Frost
- Tribute Asylum
- Ultra Zur-En-Arr
