Gotham Knights: TV series pilot ordered

The CW is ordering a pilot for the television series Gotham Knights.

The CW television series Gotham Knights will be produced by Batwoman executive producers Chad Fiveash and James Stothero and screenwriter Natalie Abrams with the help of Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. television. Far different from the video game released by Warner Bros Games Montreal, which is expected later this year on consoles and PC, this game will see Bruce Wayne’s rebellious adopted son forge an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all accused of killing the famous Dark Knight from DC comics.

A gang of misfit renegades, the city’s most wanted criminals, must fight to clear their name. But in Gotham, without Batman, the city becomes the most dangerous it has ever been. However, hope comes from where it is least expected, as this mismatched team of fugitives will become the next generation of saviors known as the Knights of Gotham.
