Grounded: how to get into the sandbox

Grounded is a first and third person survival video game inspired by movies like Disney’s Darling, I Shrunk the Kids, and Life of a Bug. That being said, you won’t run out of opportunities to collect, craft, and explore while dodging obstacles. With the recent Hot and Hazy update, you will face a huge sandbox in the game. When players enter this sandbox, they will encounter several dangerous creatures, debuffs, and a hiss effect. But new players cannot sneak in and get inside this sandbox. Don’t worry, here’s our guide that explains how to get into the Sandbox in Grounded.

How to get into the sandbox in Grounded

Unlike some biomes, you don’t need a key to enter the Sandbox. Instead, you need to climb up to the picnic table to get into the sandbox. So, follow these steps to get inside the sandbox in Grounded:

• Heading southeast of the Sandbox, you’ll find a sloping shovel by the picnic table. This shovel will be supported by Cracked Rock.
• You can use explosives to blow up the stone. When you do this, the shovel will fall on the table, forming a bridge.
• You then need to climb over the shovel to get to the table.
• A half-eaten lunch will spawn a few swarming bees around the table. So be careful not to engage them in combat and move in the opposite direction.
• Moving on, you will find and discover Apricop Punch-O.
• Move on to find a wooden bridge leading to a stack of books.

• Moving on, you will find a Dungeons & Dragons book that will take you to the top.
• Although there are many things in this region, go through the gap under the orange book.
• You will find a field station and a Zip Line anchor.

• You can use the preinstalled Zipline to get into the Sandbox directly.
• But you need 12 silk ropes to use the anchor. Once you walk the tightrope, you will descend into the Sandbox biome.
