Harvestella is a daily life simulation game developed by Live Wire and published by Square Enix. There are many activities in this game and one of them is fishing. Fish can be a source of food or the in-game currency, Grills. In this article, we will tell you how to fish in Harvestella.

How to fish in Harvestella

Unlike other daily life simulation games, fishing is not available for you. You will have to unlock it. The good news is that you don’t have to worry about buying rods. You will receive it when you unlock this quest. You can unlock fishing by purchasing the Fishing Guide from the General Store.

Unlock fishing

• Go to the entrance to Leta’s village.
• Go to the second building on your right. This is a general store
• Buy the Fishing Knowledge book for 800 Grilla.
• And voila! Fishing Unlocked

Please note that the general store is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM in the game. If the store is closed, don’t panic. A day in this game lasts approximately 30 minutes in real life, so you can come back when the store opens.

After that, you can go to any fishing spot and start fishing. These locations are available throughout the game. Open your map and you will see a fish icon labeled Fishing Point. Head to one of the fishing spots and you will have a marker you can interact with. Once you interact with this marker, your character will use the rod to cast the line. Now this part gets a little tricky. You will have to be patient while you fish. Sometimes you get a bite in the blink of an eye, but sometimes it can take a while. You will notice that your float moves smoothly in the water. Don’t pull on the line when you see this. Wait for a big spike and then you’ll hit the interact button (A on the Switch; right click on PC). And that’s how you fish in this game.

You can use this fish as food and restore your health and stamina, or you can sell it for some Grilla. There are several types of fish available in this game, so we suggest you try as many fishing spots as you can to catch them all. You can then determine which fish sell the most.
