How to make a hammer and improve the hammer

The hammer is a tool that can be used to break small stones scattered across the field. After completing the initial seed planting tutorial, Cres will inform you that you will need a Hammer to clear the field. Item crafting is not available at this stage of the game, but you can collect the materials needed to craft a hammer. You will need 10x Hardstone to craft this tool. In order to collect these materials, you will need to travel to the Njord Steppe, as Cres reported. There you will get acquainted with the combat system of the game. Defeat the monsters, get hard stones and return to your home. If you don’t find the amount of Hardstone you need, search your home and borders to find more.

The next day, the mayor will introduce you to the craft. After completing this tutorial, you can use the workbench to make a hammer in Harvestella. For this:

  • Interact with the workbench
  • Choose a hammer recipe
  • Click the “Create”button

And voila! Your hammer is ready to use. Take this hammer to your farm and hit small rocks to break them. You will notice that you cannot break large rocks. To do this, you will need to upgrade the hammer to a higher level.

To upgrade the hammer, you need to go to quest 3C by completing the Winter Dungeon. There you will unlock the Earth fairy, Shiri. By completing his Faerie Orders, you can upgrade your hammer.
