Hitman Freelancer: How to Earn Merces

The new mode of Hitman Freelancer has a new currency in the form of Mercs, but what are they and how do you earn them? Well, Mercs are used to buy weapons and gear, including Freelancer’s Tools. If you’re just getting started with Freelancer, you won’t have Mercs to buy anything worthwhile, so let’s look at some ways to earn Mercs quickly.

How to earn Mercs in Hitman Freelancer

There are several different ways to earn Merce throughout your Freelancer campaign. Here are the ways you can earn Mercedes.

Exclusion and fair payment

For every mission you complete in Freelancer, you can receive two types of payouts. Elimination payouts are earned by simply completing the primary task of eliminating your target, but it doesn’t give you many Mercs. Goal payouts are where you can earn a decent amount of Mercs depending on how many of those goals you can complete in a single mission. These targets are assigned based on the syndicate leader you have selected, so pay attention to the “potential targets”listed when making your selection. You can even get more Mercs by accepting Prestige Objectives, but they have to be very difficult and they yield more Mercs than regular Objectives.

Opening safes

A safe may appear on some levels. You can see if it’s in the level when you select your next destination. Most often, these safes are located in hard-to-reach places. To open the safe, you will need 3 hints to open the safe. These clues are in the area of ​​the safe. Clues come in the form of items such as laptops, tablets, and documents. These items are also highlighted in yellow when using Instinct mode. Once you find them, scan all 3 items with your camera and this should open the safe. Be careful when opening the safe, as this is considered an illegal act.

couriers

As with the safes, there may be a courier or even several couriers at your level. Couriers are NPCs that carry Mercs, but you don’t have to kill them to get Mercs. Putting them down will work, and after that you can just pick up the Mercedes.

Shelter in New York

If you ever choose New York as one of your destinations, then you’re in luck because the Bank Vault on the underground level has a whole bunch of Mercedes just waiting to be picked up by you. However, you are risking your mission by trying to get into the vault, so do it carefully.
