In addition to being a fifth-year academic student, Hogwarts Legacy has players chasing all of the Witchcraft spells. You can get them from different treasure chests to customize your Room of Requirement or Vivarium. Although there are 140 spells in total, most players get stuck looking for the last spell of a spell. Due to this completion issue, players are unable to earn only 139 out of 140 spells. How to find one missing spell 139/140 in Hogwarts Legacy (solutions)

There may be several reasons for the lack of spells in Hogwarts Legacy. Since you can find enchantment spells in collection chests, you may have missed one of them. In total, 157 chests with collections are scattered and marked on the map. We suggest checking if you have collected all the chests of the Collections. But for players who have collected all the chests and faced this problem, try the following method.

You can check which individual Affliction spell you are missing in the Collections tab. From there, you’ll find different categories based on different ways to get the 140 spells. These categories include getting spellcasting spells from research, quests, trials, and merchants. Most players have stated in Reddit and Steam threads that they are missing one Affliction in the Research tab. You can get these spells by following the butterflies, which will lead you to collection chests.

If you’re having trouble completing Spells 139/140 in the Hogwarts Legacy after collecting all the Butterfly Chests, it appears to be due to a bug. So, we suggest players don’t try too hard, as there’s nothing you can do but wait. Luckily, the most recent patch worked for some PS5 players (link) as they were able to get to the last collection chest.
