The Honor 60 series debuted in China. The new Honor smartphones are coming with Google Mobile Services running on Android 11 after the official split from Huawei earlier this year. Honor has launched two smartphones in this series. These are Honor 60 and 60 Pro. The Pro model gets the new Snapdragon 778G+ SoC under the hood. Both devices are equipped with a triple camera on the back. It is not yet known whether these devices will reach international markets. The company launched the Honor 50 in Europe. Honor 60, 60 Pro price
The Honor 60 Pro launched in China has a starting price of 3,700 yuan. For the price, users get 8GB + 256GB of storage. There is also a 12GB + 256GB variant priced at 4,000 RMB.
The vanilla model is presented in three variants. Its base model has 8GB + 128GB storage and is priced at 2,700 yuan. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants are priced at 3,000 Yuan and 3,300 Yuan.
Specifications and Features
Starting with the Honor 60 Pro, the device features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit screen is curved and has a hole punch cut in the center. Under the hood of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 4800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
There is a triple camera on the back of the device. There is a 108-megapixel main camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor that can also capture macro images, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the device has a 50MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and runs MagicUI 5 based on Android 11 out of the box.
The vanilla model is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display and also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This device also has a curved screen, but only on the sides. The phone has a punch-hole display with a 32 MP front camera.
