Horizon Forbidden West: La Forêt d’Aloy, an environmental initiative.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is inviting gamers from all over the world to plant a forest right from their sofa in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, The Eden Project, Forest and Bird, MyTree, Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald, WWF-Canada and Play4Forests as part of the United Nations Program for the Environment.
Earning the Couards Reached bronze trophy (objective is to reach the Couards while looking for access to the Forbidden West) Horizon: Forbidden West on PS5 and PS4 will allow you to plant a tree in the Aloy Forest located in the Vosges from February. 18 to 28. For this trophy to come alive after all five trophies are unlocked, players will need to share the completion of this challenge on Twitter with the hashtag #LaForêtdAloy.
The Play4Forests (P4F) campaign targets the gaming community and aims to raise awareness of the importance of forests to our environment and health. It aims to inspire world leaders to take decisive action to protect and restore forests. The result of a collaborative effort between the video game industry and the United Nations Environment Programme, P4F aims to get gamers to support the cause by signing a petition and campaigning through social media.
Horizon Forbidden West – Play and Plant Program
On the occasion of the release of Horizon: Forbidden West on PS5 and PS4, Sony Interactive Entertainment wants to do something to help nature together with the players: “Just as Aloy fights to save the Earth in the game, we can do something together to help our planet. ”
