iFixit Starts Selling Parts for Google Pixel Smartphones for Your Repair
iFixit sells official repair parts for your Google Pixel. Repair kits and complete manuals are also available.
If your Google Pixel needs any kind of repair, you can of course take the “official”route, i.e. send it back to the manufacturer, but now you can also buy official replacement parts to fix the problem yourself. The components in question and detailed repair instructions for Google Pixel 2 and newer are available on iFixit.

Available parts: screens, batteries, rear camera modules. They are available on the menu and iFixit intends to expand its catalog in the future. You can also buy Fix Kits, which iFxit says includes everything a Pixel owner needs to fix their device. Each kit includes a phone opening tool and official glue to seal it after the operation is completed. iFixit components are covered by a lifetime warranty, with the exception of the battery, which is only covered by a one-year warranty.
Repair kits and complete manuals are also available.
iFixit sells these parts in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and European countries where Google offers its pixels, including France. The company also plans to support future Pixel models as soon as possible after their release. For example, manuals and the first components for the Pixel 6a will appear on the site this fall. In addition, iFixit also wholesales these parts to independent repair shops.
Last April, Google and iFixit announced a partnership to offer official parts to Pixel owners. Apple and Samsung have promised to allow their customers to repair their devices themselves. Decisions taken after the extension of the laws on the right to indemnification.
