Developing a video game is always a very risky project, whether you are a major international studio or an independent one. This requires a lot of time and investment, and even under all conditions, the success of the project remains highly dependent on external dangers. Therefore, it is very common to find out that the release of such and such a game is delayed, or that the project is simply abandoned in the end. Sam Barlow’s “Immortality”game is being delayed today.
Immortality, the new game from Sam Barlow, is delayed
Sam Barlow is the man behind the hugely successful games Her Story and Telling Lies. Immortality was originally scheduled for July 26 on PC, Xbox, and mobile. It won’t be released until August 30th. Sam Barlow announced this via his Twitter account.
“Today we are moving the release date of Immortality to August 30, 2022,” he wrote recently. “Marissa Marcel’s work has taken decades to see the light of day, and we’re happy to take on an extra month to make sure the experience is as mature as it gets.”
The release is scheduled for August 30th.
Like Sam Barlow’s previous projects, Immortality is entirely a video game. Find out what happened to actress Marcel Marcel by watching archival footage of the three movies she starred in before her disappearance. Sam Barlow was assisted by Allan Scott and Amelia Grey, known for their work on The Checkers Game and Mr. Robot, respectively. Sam Barlow also hinted that Immortality will be coming to other platforms after its initial launch.
See you on August 30 to discover this little game that promises to keep you entertained for hours.
