Indian Game Indus Battle Royale New Gameplay and Map Details Revealed
SuperGaming recently released another episode of Inside the Indus, a series that sheds light on the development of the highly anticipated battle royale for mobile, PC, and consoles.
The latest episode of the series sheds light on various aspects of the game, especially “Indo-futurism”. This concept defines not only the core aesthetic, but also the core philosophy and principles behind the game. The footage shown in the latest episode not only covers the setting and backstory of the Indus, but some gameplay details as well as key parts of the game map.
SuperGaming releases new ‘Inside the Indus’ episode, showcases new gameplay and map
The video begins with the player character Mythwalker falling onto the map, Virlok. The aesthetic of the map is inspired by a concept called “Indo-futurism”, which explores the fate of the Indus Valley Civilization several hundred years into the future as a space civilization.
Small footage of the gameplay was also shown, which shows the game in action and the types of weapons that will be at the disposal of the players. Key parts of the map have also been revealed, such as Jatayu Central, giving players an idea of just how extensive and detailed the map will be.
In addition to the gameplay, the game also featured hints of Indian references, including the “Nimbu-Mirchi”weapon amulet, which players can attach to their weapons and customize. It will be interesting to see how deep the weapon customization system will be in the game, and this indicates that there are probably a few more amulets that players can use.
The game is being developed by SuperGaming, a Pune-based studio, and is a free-to-play battle royale game currently due for release in 2022 for mobile, PC, and consoles. Fans will likely see more games in the coming months leading up to release, and hopefully the release date is soon too.
