Good news for individual Google Workspace users. Storage expands from 15 GB to 1 TB at no additional cost.

Google offers some very interesting web services for everyone. With Gmail and all its companion services—Drive, Docs, and more—you can do a lot, always online. But you can run out of storage space quickly if you’re handling a lot of files, emails with large attachments, and/or large Drive files.

Good news for individual Google Workspace users

Google has good news for users who benefit from an individual Workspace plan. Those who use the service, such as entrepreneurs and other freelancers, will soon be eligible for more than a significant increase in the amount of storage allocated to their account. This will increase from 15 GB to 1 TB at no additional cost. Most affected Workspace users will no longer have to worry about running out of space in Gmail or Drive.

So far, Google has only offered individual Workspace users the same amount of storage as a free Gmail account. To increase this capacity, more had to be purchased through Google One. Mountain View explains that interested users will not need to do anything to take advantage of this increase, everything will be done automatically in the coming days/weeks.

For the rest, know that there are more options for those who send emails to multiple people in multi-send mode. You can also use special tags such as @firstname to personalize your newsletters. This can be useful even if your individual Workspace plan does not (yet) include support for personalized email addresses. In addition, Google is currently rolling out its customized Workspace offering to more countries: the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece, and Argentina.
