Instagram is adding new templates and tools to make it easier to create videos.
Instagram is full of tools for Reels. Making drums has never been easier.
Meta has introduced new tools to provide new ways to collaborate with others using Reels as part of its strategy to better compete with TikTok. Firstly, now on Instagram you can edit not only videos, but also photos. The company has added more remix templates, including a green screen, split screen, and a picture-in-picture reaction view, to make spinning the existing reel easier. In addition, you can add your own remix to the end of the original video instead of playing it along with it. This format sometimes works best.

In addition, Meta offers new templates to make it easier to create drums with preloaded audio and video effects. Then just add your photo or video. You can view the collection of templates by clicking on the camera icon on the Reels tab. Another feature that makes it a real competitor to TikTok is the ability to record front and back cameras simultaneously through the Instagram camera.

Finally, Meta confirmed the leak: all videos posted on Instagram and less than 15 minutes long will become Reels. Videos under 90 seconds long can be recommended on the app and therefore reach a wider audience. But you don’t have to worry about becoming popular if you don’t want to, Instagram won’t use your videos as a recommendation if your profile is private. And the platform will not automatically convert your old videos. This feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks and will also allow you to group all of your videos and videos into one tab in the app.
A few days ago, Instagram also introduced a feature that allows influencers to make money with their reels. Creators can now only share with their paid subscribers. Meta has promised creators it won’t take any commissions until 2024, but placing Reels behind a paywall in this way allows creators to make money. Company executives have said they intend to monetize Reels as early as the second half of 2022. No doubt, new such features will appear very soon.
