While Meta hopes to position Reels as the future of Instagram and Facebook, the American giant is actively vying for the crown with TikTok’s most popular short video app. Creators and brands often post their videos to their TikTok accounts (or vice versa), with Instagram and Facebook no longer being exclusive destinations for this content.
