iPhone 15 Series Will Have Double Hole Cutout Like iPhone 14 Pro Models: Report

The iPhone 14 hasn’t been released yet and rumors about next year’s iPhone models have started popping up online. A new report has revealed some key details about the display of the iPhone 15 series. An Omdia report (via PhoneArena) claims that Apple will release iPhone 15 models with the same display size as the iPhone 14 series.

The report also reveals that the hole-punch cutout will still be part of the iPhone 15 display. Rumor has it that Apple will replace the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max with a hole-punch and pill-shaped cutout. Apple hasn’t even released the iPhone 14 series and the rumor mill has started to reveal some details about the 2023 iPhone models. Omdia’s report says that next year’s iPhone models will have the same display size as the upcoming iPhone 14 series.

The iPhone 14 series is rumored to come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will feature a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the new iPhone 14 Max will feature a 6.7-inch display.

If the details in the report are correct, then the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro will also feature a 6.1-inch display. iPhone 15 Max 15 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch screen. The report goes on to say that the hole punch cutout will be on all four models. Rumor has it that Apple will launch Pro models this year with a hole-punch and pill-shaped cutout. Non-professional iPhone models will have the wide notch we see on the iPhone 13 models.

The Omdia report also added that Apple is lagging behind the competition when it comes to under-screen camera technology. It was previously reported that the 15 Pro models that will be released next year will not have display cutouts. According to rumors, Face ID sensors will be placed under the display.
