iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro for Asia will be renamed and change specifications
iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro debuted last week in the Chinese market. The launch of the iQoo 9 series in Asia has already been confirmed by the brand. However, the company will launch iQoo 8 (Chinese variant) as iQoo 9.
Now Yogesh Brar’s new tip suggests that the iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro variants will not be the same as the iQoo 8 and iQoo 9 Pro (Chinese variant). Brar claims the Indian variants will have modified hardware and the company will remove some features from those devices to keep the cost down.
However, Brar did not specifically say what changes the company could make to the Asian variants to bring down the cost. iQoo has already confirmed that iQoo 9 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. IQoo 9 Pro will be equipped with a 4700mAh battery and will support 120W fast charging. iQoo 9 will also support 120W as detailed on the landing page.
