Iqoo will launch a new affordable flagship smartphone in China next week. The company’s next phone will be part of the Iqoo Neo 6 series and it will be the Iqoo Neo 6 SE. Iqoo Neo 6 SE will be launched in China on May 6th. The company has officially confirmed the launch date of the new phone in a post on Weibo.
The Iqoo Neo 6 SE will join the Iqoo Neo 6 as part of the series and will be the successor to last year’s Iqoo Neo 5 SE. Ahead of the launch, the company has also officially confirmed the phone’s processor and some other specs. Iqoo Neo 6 SE: what we know so far
The launch of Iqoo Neo 6 SE will take place on May 6 at 19:30 local time. In terms of specifications, the Neo 6 SE is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor, which has been a popular chipset for many brands in the past few years when it comes to affordable flagship phones. The Snapdragon 870 SoC offers a maximum clock speed of up to 3.2GHz and is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU.
In addition, the company has also confirmed that the phone will come with UFS 3.1 storage. Iqoo says the phone has gone through 11 performance tweaks to improve its performance. Finally, the phone is said to support 80W fast wired charging.
According to previous leaks, the Neo 6 SE will come with a 4,700mAh battery. The phone is said to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. More details about the phone will be revealed next week. Meanwhile, back in March, a possible Indian version of Iqoo Neo 6
