iQoo set to launch 3 phones in India this month including iQoo 9, 9 Pro, 9 SE

A month ago, iQoo launched the 9th series of smartphones in China. The phones are confirmed to launch in India as the company teased the phone’s launch during a BGMI demo and launched a microsite on its website confirming the specs of the Indian variant.

A popular Youtuber has uploaded a video claiming that the iQoo 9 series will launch in India later this month and will feature three phones, contradicting earlier reports of only two phones being included. The series will include iQoo 9 SE, 9 and 9 Pro. Let’s take a look at iQoo 9 series specs, specifications and price in India.

iQoo 9 SE to launch alongside iQoo 9 and 9 Pro in India

The iQoo 9 series in India will consist of three phones – vanilla 9, 9 Pro and 9 SE. As mentioned in previous reports, iQoo 9 pro and iQoo 9 in India will be a mixture of iQoo 8 and iQoo 9. The Indian version of these devices will differ from the Chinese counterparts. You can read the full specifications of these devices here.

iQoo 9 SE will be released alongside the iQoo 9 series in India. Judging by the video, iQoo 9 SE will be the cheapest among the entire series. It will have a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor. There will be a 48MP triple camera on the back. Guruji mentions that iQoo 9 SE starting price will be close to Rs 35,000, we can expect it to be Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 in India.

Based on the specs, we can speculate that the iQoo 9 SE could be a rebadged version of the iQoo Neo 5S released back in December 2021 in China. The IQoo 9 SE in India may have a 4500mAh battery and support 66W fast charging. It can use a 16-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video calls.

The iQoo 9 Pro is confirmed to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and 120W fast charging in India, while the vanilla 9 variant will use the Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC.
