iQoo U5 5G up for pre-orders in China: pricing and options confirmed

iQOO announced the iQOO U5 5G a couple of days ago in China. Now, the company has unveiled pricing options and a sale date for the phone for the Chinese market. As a reminder, iQOO U5 comes with a large display and dual rear cameras. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and a 5000 mAh battery. Price of iQOO U5 5G

IQOO U5 comes in three memory configurations: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The price is as follows:

• 4 GB + 128 GB – 1299 yuan
• 6 GB + 128 GB – 1399 yuan
• 8 GB + 128 GB – 1499 yuan

The phone is already up for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting January 1st.

iQOO U5 5G Features and Specs

The phone has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 2408×1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel also has room for a front-facing selfie shooter inside a punch hole.

The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which comes paired with an Adreno 619 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. The Snapdragon 695 is built on a 6nm process. The device runs on the Android 12 operating system, on which OriginOS Ocean is installed.

IQOO U5 includes dual rear camera and LED flash. The main sensor on the device is a 50 MP sensor, which is accompanied by a 2 MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-SD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

It also supports face unlock feature. Connectivity options include Dual sim, 5G, 4G, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS.
