Fix Modern Warfare 2 Error Code 2901 (Lobby Not Found)

How to fix error code 2901 in MW2
Luckily, the developers of Infinity Ward have fixed error code 2901 in their recent Modern Warfare 2 update. Therefore, you need to restart your game or device in order to apply this fix.
But there may be other reasons if you are still facing error cause: 10, error code 2901 in MW2. Since the update is running, you can manually update the game to the latest version. Please note that if you are running an older version of the game, the fix will not be applied automatically. So, check for any pending updates and install them to resolve this error. This should fix error code 2901 on all supported platforms including PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
But if that doesn’t work, here are some workarounds to fix this error on your PC and consoles:
- Check your internet connection
- Reboot your router or modem.
- Checking for server failures
- Reboot or power on the console.
- Reinstall COD Modern Warfare 2 on console or PC.
- Submit a ticket to Activision Support
