Fixed an issue that caused Xbox clips to not load (delete old files, reset and more)

How to Fix Xbox Captures Not Loading
If you’re having an issue with your Xbox Capture/Clip and it’s not working, we have a solution. This can be caused by a number of factors, ranging from throughput issues to hardware failure. Below is a list of fixes for Xbox captures/clips not loading:
Make sure game capture is enabled
First of all, make sure game capture is enabled on your Xbox console. Here’s how to do it:
- Press the Xbox button on your controller.
- Now go to Profile & System > Settings > Preferences > Capture & Share.
- Go to the “Allow game capture”section and make sure you select “Capture by me”or “Capture by me or games”.
If you’re still unable to download clips even after enabling Game Capture, try deleting old clips and restarting your Xbox One.
Delete old and unused clips on Xbox Live
Xbox gives you up to 10 GB of free cloud space to add clips to your profile. If you reach the maximum volume, you will have no other choice but to remove unwanted clips:
- Press the Xbox button and go to Capture and Share.
- From here, select Recent Shots > Show All.
- Now select the old and unused clips you want to delete.
- You can do this by pressing the “A”button on your controller.

Perform a quick console reset
This guide will show you how to reset your Xbox to the latest version. If you’re using custom firmware on your Xbox One and encounter this error when trying to upload snapshots meant for official releases, you’ll need to restart your console before trying again:
- Press the Xbox button on your controller.
- Now select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console Information.
- Go to “Reset Console”and select the “Reset and keep my games and apps”option.
Your Xbox console will now return to its default settings. Try uploading your videos to Xbox Live. However, if you are still experiencing the same issue, visit the support page on the official Xbox website and search for “video download”.
